America's Thrift Stores donation truck
American's Thrift Stores donation truck offers the surrounding community a place to donate gently used clothing and household items they no longer need while benefiting Children's Healthcare.
Those items are then made available for purchase in secondhand thrift stores or wholesale markets, helping to keep reusable items out of landfills.
Ready to donate? Make sure your item is clean and in very good condition, then place all soft items (clothing, linens, drapes) in a bag and tie it off. Place all small household items as well as shoes and belts in a box, then seal it. Place it on the back of our truck (not the ground please) and we'll stack it just right for transport.
Accepted Items for America's Thrift Stores Truck
All items must be in good working condition
- Men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing
- Shoes and accessories
- Working Electronics like CD players and DVD players
- Cookware and serving utensils
- Silverware and glassware
- Small working appliances
- Decorative items, collectables
- Bedding, Drapes and linens
- Toys and games
- Tools
- CD’s, records, DVDs in good condition with covers
- Jewelry
- Fabric and craft supplies
- Small furniture that one person can lift. Such as:
- Coffee tables, End tables, Nightstands
- Stools, Dining chairs

NO TVs
NO Office furniture
NO Large or upholstered furniture
NO Box springs/mattresses
NO Firearms
NO Household fixtures such as kitchen/bathroom cabinets, lighting
NO Unassembled furniture including headboards/footboards
NO Car Seats or cribs
NO Doors/Windows
NO Paint, plumbing fixtures
NO Tires
NO Carpets or rugs
