Clean Earth Books is an Atlanta-based organization founded in 2008 that gives books a second life by redistributing them to schools, libraries, and nonprofits or responsibly recycling the ones that can't be reused. They have rehomed over 5 million books and prevented millions of pounds of paper from becoming landfill waste. They are our go-to partner for collecting and diverting donated books — including medical books — away from the trash.

What they take:

Computers/TVs/Phones/Hard drives

Full Circle Electronics is a certified R2, HIPAA-compliant electronics recycler with a Georgia facility in Alpharetta at 1280 Old Alpharetta Road. They safely and securely recycle all types of e-waste, including computers, phones, TVs, and hard drives—with data destruction built into the process. They are our trusted partner for diverting electronics from landfills during our community collection events.

Bikes for kids/Community outreach

The Rotary Club of Sandy Springs is a civic service organization chartered in 1972, dedicated to "Service Above Self" through local and international service projects. They partner with KNFB to help put donated bikes into the hands of children in need through the Free Bikes for Kids initiative. Their commitment to the Sandy Springs community makes them a valued and trusted partner in our mission.

What they accept:

Latex paint/Oil-based paint/Paint cans

Atlanta Paint Disposal is a Lithia Springs-based company founded in 2010 that specializes in the responsible recycling and disposal of residential and commercial paint. They offer both pickup services and drop-off locations across Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, and Tennessee, keeping paint out of landfills by maximizing direct reuse and recycling. They are a trusted partner for our community paint collection events, showing up on time and handling large volumes professionally.

What they pick up:

Glass bottles/Jars/Food & beverage glass

Ripple Glass specializes in glass recycling, collecting all colors of food and beverage glass through their signature purple bin drop-off network. They have an active presence in the Atlanta metro area and process collected glass into new bottles, fiberglass insulation, and countertops. Partnering with Ripple helps KNFB divert glass from the landfill and give it a genuine second life right here in Georgia.

The Teacher Reuse Exchange (TRE) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by Denise Carleton in 2020, dedicated to collecting and redistributing new and gently used school, teacher, and office supplies to educators across Fulton, Forsyth, and surrounding Georgia counties—completely free of charge. Since opening, the TRE has recycled over 6 tons of scrapbooks, paper, and cardboard while serving teachers from public, private, pre-K, and homeschool settings. KNFB partners with the TRE to ensure donated school and classroom supplies collected at our center get directly into the hands of teachers who need them most.
