The City of Johns Creek and Keep North Fulton Beautiful are partnering to host a Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) and electronics collection event. This drive-through event makes it easy to safely clear out dangerous chemicals, old paint, and unwanted electronics right from your vehicle.
📅 Event Details
- When: Saturday, Aug. 15 | 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. (Noon) (Note the updated ending time!)
- Where: Johns Creek City Hall, 11360 Lakefield Drive
- Cost: Free, but pre-registration is strictly required.
🛑 Resident Requirement: This event is exclusively for residents of the City of Johns Creek. Businesses and contractors are not permitted. All registrants will undergo an address verification check prior to the event.
📝 Registration & Volunteers
Space is limited, and registrations are handled on a first-come, first-served basis. The portal will automatically close once the registration cap is reached. No walk-ups or on-site registrations will be accepted.

Volunteer Opportunities
Because our professional HHW and electronics vendors handle all material sorting, we only require a very small volunteer crew (2–3 people) to help keep traffic moving smoothly.

🚗 What to Expect on Event Day
- Stay in Your Car: This is a fully drive-through event. For your safety and efficiency, residents will not need to exit their vehicles. Professional vendors will unload your items for you.
- Traffic Flow Map: A detailed event traffic map will be emailed to all registered participants prior to the event so you know exactly where to queue.
- Guidelines Sent to Your Inbox: Registered users will receive the "What We Do/Don't Accept" guide via email three times leading up to the event to ensure a seamless drop-off.
